Platinum #344: The Long Reach (Vita)

Hey there!

The Vita stack is now done too.

What is the game all about?
The Long Reach is a 2D side-scrolling adventure / point and click game mixed with a few survival horror elements. The pixel-art is very appealing and retro-fans will love this game.
Most of the time you’re in control of Stuart, who acts as a guinea pig for a company called General Education. After a very confusing beginning, you’re trapped inside this company and you must find a way out. For this, must collect items and solve puzzles. Furthermore, you will learn more about the backstory and the main story will become clearer. Until drugs become involved – from then on, it’s hard to determine what’s real and what’s just an imagination.
The game is very dark and the flashlight will become your best friend. Although it takes a while until you find it.
As mentioned, this game also contains survival horror elements. Later in the game you encounter some enemies and you must find a way to bypass them. Don’t be afraid about dying, the game is very forgiving and you’ll start right where you died.
The controls are simple and the soundtrack fits perfectly. All in all, a great game!

What about trophies?
Most of the trophies are story-related, but there are also collectibles. You must read all e-mails and drink from every watercooler. Both aren’t that hard to find. There are 2 different endings, and you must watch them both. But don’t worry, everything can be done in one playthrough as you can simply continue from the last checkpoint after beating the game.
If you get stuck or simply want to get this game done as quick as possible, follow this vide walkthrough by IBadDriverI. With this, you’ll be able to complete this game in around one hour.

Where can I get this game?
The Long Reach is available in the EU and NA PSN store. Both versions have its own stack. You can also buy a physical version of the game at sigantureeditiongames.com. I'm not 100% sure, but I assume this is the EU version.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.com or at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes! It’s a very good game with appealing pixel-art graphics and a confusing but good story. Even it should turn out that you don’t like it, you can easily beat it within one hour.

CaseLabs announces it has been 'forced into bankruptcy and liquidation'

The company cites tariffs and the 'default of a large account' as the primary reasons.

CaseLabs is a US-based PC case manufacturer, known for quality products like the Magnum SMA8, unfortunately announced on social media that it is "closing permanently" and will not be able to fill all current orders.

"We have been forced into bankruptcy and liquidation," CaseLabs said in a statement. "The tariffs have played a major role raising prices by almost 80 percent (partly due to associated shortages), which cut deeply into our margins. The default of a large account added greatly to the problem... We reached out for a possible deal that would allow us to continue on and persevere through these difficult times, but in the end, it didn’t happen."

CaseLabs is likely referring to the growing number of tariffs being enforced on Chinese imports by the United States government. China and the US are currently engaged in a trade war, causing many US companies to lose money, lay off employees, or close entirely.

CaseLabs went on to say that it won't be able to fill the backlog of case orders, but other parts will most likely ship to customers. "We are so incredibly sorry this is happening. Our user community has been very devoted to us and it’s awful to think that we have let any of you down."

100% #59: Super Kids Racing (NA)

Hey there!

Super quick and easy racing game, if you want to call it that way. Will pick up the EU version for sure once it is on sale.

What is the game all about?
As the name implies, Super Kids Racing is clearly made for kids. There’s no challenge, no fun, the cars drive at very low speed, and the graphics are clearly outdated. Maybe kids might have some fun for a few minutes, but everyone else should stay away from this game.
At the beginning, there’s only one track and one car unlocked. You need to drive around on this track and collect some coins until you have enough to buy new cars and tracks. It’s really all about collecting coins, as winning or losing doesn’t award you anything. But the AI is so stupid, it’s really hard to lose in this game.
I haven’t played more than the first 2 tracks but I think I’ve seen all there is. Don’t buy this game if you aren’t here for some easy trophies.

What about trophies?
All you must do is to accumulate 1200 coins. For this, drive the first track and collect 30 coins. Now, buy the second track, set laps to one and drive this track over and over again until you have 1200 coins. Don’t waste any coins on anything else, as you need to have 1200 at once. Don’t worry, this whole process will only take 10-20 minutes.

Where can I get this game?
Super Kids Racing can be found in the EU and NA PSN store. Each version has its own stack.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.comor at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.

As a trophy hunter, should I get this game?
Yes, but wait until this game is on sale as it is way overprized.

Platinum #341-343: Tetra’s Escape (EU Vita & PS4, NA PS4)

Hey there!

A very easy puzzle / platformer mix. Can be completed in less than an hour.

What is the game all about?
Tetra’s Escape is the next super easy but fun game published by Ratalaika Games. The game is a puzzle / platformer mixed with a little bit of Tetris.
You’re a Tetra (a block) and you must reach the end of a level to proceed to the next one. For this, you must walk, jump and shift other Tetras into different Tetrominos to reach the exit. Tetrominos are blocks shaped like the blocks in Tetris. Every mechanic of the game is well introduced and the difficulty increases from level to level. If you want, you don’t only try to reach the exits but also go the extra mile and try to collect every star and cup in each level.
There are 8 different worlds with 8 levels each to explore. The later levels will also include hazards like fire and ice. This ranks up the difficulty a little bit more.
Summing up, the game is fun but easy. With a little bit brainpower, you can beat each level after a few tries.

What about trophies?
To unlock the Platinum Trophy, you only must complete the first 6 worlds, collect 50% of the stars and cups, and do some miscellaneous things like save 200 Tetras or move 2500 block. Most of the trophies unlock naturally, so there’s only a little clean-up needed after beating world 6.
If you want, you can follow this guideby Ratalaika Games on psnprofiles.com, or watch the video walktrough by IBadDriverI. If you follow one of these guides, you should be able to complete the game in less than an hour.

Where can I get this game?
Tetra’s Escape can be found in the EU and NA PSN store. There are versions for PS4 and Vita, and each version has its own stack.
If you need PSN cards, you can buy them at play-asia.comor at scdkey.com. There you get digital codes, which will be send to you via e-mail within minutes.
